Ahead of India's crucial third Test against hosts England at Edgbaston, star opener Virender Sehwag is all set to join the beleaguered team on Wednesday.
Sehwag's return would bring back the team's confidence to some extent after being completely outplayed in the four-Test series with the visitors trailing 0-2. It was in England that Sehwag scored his first century as an opener in 2002.
Sehwag, who was ruled out for the first fortnight of the England series, is expected to be available for the last two Tests.
With India struggling, captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni would look to the Delhi dasher to turn around the sagging fortunes of the team.
Sehwag had opted for a shoulder surgery after playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) in May and was ruled out for at least two months including the tour of West Indies.
India have been struggling without proper openers as the skipper has already tried three different opening combinations till now.
